Being built on the Prince of Wales much acclaimed Poundbury development in Dorchester, ZeroC Poundbury West is currently under construction and the first homes will be completed in July 2009.
A highly sustainable scheme, all the homes are being heated via a district biomass heating system running on wood pellets. Other technologies include rainwater harvesting. All the houses are being built to the standard of Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.
The homes are unusually spacious. The duplexes feature internal balconies and a very high standard of internal finish.
It is anticipated that the homes will be released in July 2009.
